The zoo was super clean. Impressed. Even the bathrooms were way nicer than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. Definitely made the whole visit feel more comfortable.

Before taking my family to the Nashville Zoo, I checked Nashville Zoo so I could make sure we knew what to expect and weren’t wasting money or time. The site was really straightforward. I found tickets, hours, parking info, and maps without having to click around forever, which I appreciated. I also liked that the accessibility details were easy to find since we needed info about wheelchair access and quieter areas. Everything was readable on my phone too. It’s not a flashy site, but it does exactly what you need, and when you’re planning a family outing on a budget, that makes a difference

I had a really nice time because I could actually see the animals well during my visit. Sometimes at places like this they’re hiding or too far away, but I was happy that they were visible and easy to spot. It made the experience feel much more enjoyable.

We went to one of the Nashville Zoo special events, kind of on a whim after I’d been talking about taking the kids somewhere that wasn’t just the park again, and we ended up having a really good time. The kids were super into the extra activities, and the staff we talked to were all really nice and patient, even with how busy it was. The only downside was that parking and some of the lines got a little chaotic, especially when everyone seemed to show up at the same time. But it was still worth going, and the kids were talking about it the whole ride home

Took my kids here and my snap judgment was, okay, this place is actually impressive. There were so many animals to see—tigers, kangaroos, birds, reptiles, and even the little critters area ended up being fun. We walked around the whole time and never got bored.

We had such a great time feeding the lorikeets and walking around with the kangaroos. The kids absolutely loved it, i think other families would have just as much fun. It’s a really easy, relaxed day out without feeling too overwhelming

We went on a hot afternoon, and I was so glad there were shaded spots in a lot of places. Some areas were still brutal in the direct sun, but having a few cooler places to duck into made a big difference. I kept remembering this one weird detail—there was a tiny patch of shade near a trash can that somehow felt like the best spot in the whole place for a minute. A few more fans or misting areas would make it even better, but overall it was a good visit.

I was glad there were plenty of restrooms around. You don’t have to wander far or wait in a long line, which makes the whole visit a lot easier.

It’s a good value if you plan on visiting a lot. I just wish the instructions were a little clearer upfront, because it took me a bit to figure out how everything worked...
